What if this bear market is different?
Q: You seem confident that markets "always" rebound following a downturn. What if it's different this time, given the huge amount of debt and massive government spending?
A: Only God knows the future, but we can know the past. The past tells us economies have always run in cycles of "boom" and "bust." Only when the history books are written will we know how long and deep this particular bust turned out to be.
While today's challenges surely are significant, they aren't bigger than the World Wars, communist aggression, double-digit inflation, and host of other problems the markets have recovered from in the past. Yes, this is an uncertain time but uncertainty is the only certain thing in our fallen world!
Stick to a faith-anchored, biblically informed, long-term plan. With that approach, you likely won't go far wrong, no matter what may happen. ![]()
